I am a wedding celebrant based in Monopoli, Puglia. I was born in Rome to a father from Puglia and a French mother, so I grew up between two languages and two cultures. I later lived in Spain and in the Netherlands, where I studied at university, and I have worked in weddings and hospitality in Puglia for over ten years.
I love meeting new people and discovering new cultures, and being a celebrant lets me do both. Since 2019 I have written and led symbolic ceremonies for couples from the UK, the US, Australia and across Europe, in English, Italian, French and Spanish.
Why I became a celebrant
For five years I managed a guest house in Puglia, and that is where I came close to the world of weddings. I fell in love with the moment of the ceremony. I love getting to know each couple and sharing the journey with them, and on the day I am moved together with them. I feel lucky to share such a special and meaningful moment.
How I work
- I listen first. Every ceremony starts from your story: how you met, what you share, the people who matter to you.
- I involve the people you love. With your permission, I talk to family and friends to collect memories and anecdotes.
- I balance emotion and lightness. A ceremony should move your guests and make them smile, without ever feeling long.
- I keep a surprise. You agree the shape of the ceremony with me, but you hear the full text for the first time on the day.
- I take care of the details. I coordinate with your planner, the venue and the musicians, and I arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony.
